I read the "Available Characters" topic, but I wasn't sure whether I had to PM the admin or not since I just want to play the character, not rule a village or create one.. Though, if there's any problem, feel free to call me out.

Humanoid: Quite tall, Sesshomaru towers above most others. Being related to Inuyasha, he has extremely long and flowing silver hair, nearly reaching the ground. On his face, cheeks and forearms, he bears the marks of a demon, which appear to be magenta stripes which become jagged when he is agitated or enraged. On his forehead, he has a crescent moon, which stays present in his canine form. On his shoulder, he carries a wad of fur, which appears to be attached to him.
His eyes are small, colored a deep golden when is calm, and seem to be narrowed all the time. When angered, his eyes enlarge, turning red while his pupils turn blue and enlarge, dilating after his transformation.
He wears a spiked pauldron over his regular metal armor, which regenerates using youki whenever it breaks. His kimino is colored white and red, bearing the mark of a flower within a honeycomb. Around his waist, he has a sash tied, carrying his swords within it. His hakamas flow, gathering around the ankles, puffing out slightly, and on his feet, he wears a pair of pointed ankle boot.
Canine/True Form: In this form, Sesshomaru is a large white dog, appearing to be a spaniel, with his drooping ears. His eyes turn crimson and his pupils turn blue, dilating. The fur over his shoulder fluffs out, spreading to his feet and around his chest. His claws are much longer than a regular dog's, seeming razor sharp, and his tongue ripples.
Personality:
Quite elegant, Sesshomaru, at first glance, appears to be very calm and collected. He seems to never be in a rush, and often goes off on his own, never patient enough to wait for his companions. Difficult to read and stoic, he is very cold toward outsiders, and may even ignore what others would consider his 'friends'. He is silent almost eighty percent of the time, preferring to travel in silence, speaking only when its necessary. It is difficult to tell whether he is angry or just being silent most of the time, often making a tense aura among his traveling companions. When he smiles, it is suggested that he is feeling extremely angered or evil, and a beating seems better than being in the presence of him smiling.
He has a great despise of half-breeds and humans, although he keeps Rin with him. Showing a great deal of respect for his father, Sesshomaru blames Inuyasha for his death, despising him for "soiling" his father's blood, taking the weapon he believed was meant for him, the Tetsusaiga and then ridding him of his left arm.
Not wanting to interact with others, he prefers to fight alone, always trying to get others out of his way and take down an enemy on his own. He is quite formal and polite when referring to himself because he is considered the "perfect demon", he refers to others as below him, such as Inuyasha and Jaken.
Strengths:
Speed: Sesshoumaru can move at a great speed, moving faster than the eye can spot.
Senses: Because of his dog demon heritage, he has enhanced senses, giving him the ability to identify objects by scent, such as who is pure demon and who is half or human.
Daiyôkai: Also because of his father's blood, Sesshomaru can transform into his Daiyôkai form, which is considered his true form.
Weaknesses:
Handicap: Due to his left arm being cut off, his sword performance has slightly lowered, making it a bit more difficult for him to land a hit if he has not planned it beforehand.
Ego: He is quite egotistical, often losing track of what he is doing when he is mocked, compared to or placed below another.
Loss of control: When in his Daiyôkai form, Sesshomaru has very little control of what he is doing; his mind works as a normal canine's mind would, barely planning out moves and attacking violently and blindly.
Weapons:
Weapon 1- Tenseiga: Crafted by Totosai and given to him by his father, the Tenseiga has the ability to revive the dead. When his life is in danger, the Tenseiga protects him, taking him to safety.
Weapon 2- Tôkijin: Crafted by the evil swordsmith, Kaijimbou, this sword can only be wielded by Sesshomaru because of its pure evil aura. It can be used for general sword-to-sword fights or can be used to perform the Dragon Blast, which the sword can only use for so long.

History:
Born as the first son to the Great Dog Demon and an un-named female dog demon, Sesshomaru was born into aristocracy. His parents were both Daiyôkai, sharing a great amount of power over the Western lands. As a child, he was taught the way of the royals, most likely from his mother (not shown in the English translations, Sesshomaru uses rude language to speak to those below him; he also speaks to mother like this). Sesshomaru has always had an interest in fighting, and looked up to his father greatly. This was because he was considered to be the greatest demon of the land, and Sesshomaru wished to challenge him to a battle one day.
Two hundred years before the series started, Inu no Taishou had gotten with a mortal woman, leaving his mother. He loathed this woman and felt that his father was ruining their demon blood by staying with her. After a battle with Ryuukotsu in which he gained serious wounds, the Inu no Taishou had his final talk with Sesshomaru, where he asked his father to leave two of his swords to him as an inheritance: the Souunga and Tetsusaiga. Upon being asked if he had someone to protect, he replied quite politely, stating he "has no need to protect another". Sesshomaru didn't bother stopping him, seeming somewhat angered by his decision. His father then left to the battle that caused his death, in which Sesshomaru gained his half-brother, Inuyasha. About a day after this, the Tenseiga was given to him, in which he felt like his father had ripped him off by giving him the "useless sword".
Though he seemed to hate humans beforehand, he despised his younger brother and his mortal mother, possibly for causing the death of the only great demon in the land he hoped to defeat. Pushing them out of his life, he stayed away from the family, traveling the lands. When the young Inuyasha's mother passed away, he merely rejected the half-demon, still wanting absolutely nothing to do with him, saying it was because he was a "pitiful half-breed" now.
Following the days where Inuyasha was pinned to the Sacred Tree by Kikyo, Sesshomaru led the battle against the Panther Tribe, in which some of his father's old allies came and participated, fighting along his side. They won this battle when the Tribe had fled. Feeling this was not a real victory, he left this army, traveling the land and disappearing once again.
Fifty years later, as Kagome spent her first days with Inuyasha, Sesshomaru traveled high and low, searching for his father's tomb where the Tetsusaiga- the sword he'd coveted- lay dormant. Though he searched everywhere for it, there was no trace of it anywhere in the land; that is when he decided he would pay his "little brother" a visit to see if he could pry that information out of him. When the way to the tomb was revealed to be the black pearl in Inuyasha's left eye, he quickly took it, opening the portal to the tomb.
Finding out he could not touch the Tetsusaiga, let alone wield it, he was offended when Kagome was able to pull it out from its place, and was quick to try and wipe her out. Not much to his shock, the sword protected the mortal girl, and he'd decided then that he was going to try an alterior way to kill them: transforming into his true form. After a while of beating up Inuyasha, Tetsusaiga awakened, slicing into his left arm and completely cutting it off. A few more slices to the chest and Sesshomaru teleported away to heal himself, leaving his arm behind.
Sesshomaru soon got aid from Naraku, who gave him an arm to try and steal the Tetsusaiga with. He failed to his dissapointment, having to leave or risk being swung at with the sword. As he was retreating, the arm Naraku had given him begun burning into his skin. Realizing that the man had tried to kill him, Sesshomaru went off searching, swearing to get his revenge. But not without another try for the Tetsusaiga, that is. Armed with a dragon's arm, he sought out to destroy the sword if he could not wield it, and ultimately helped Inuyasha see the Wind Scar; he was, of course, blasted with it, nearly dying if the Tenseiga hadn't teleported him to safety.
While recovering from this injury, he met Rin who tried to feed him fish. He rejected the young girl, telling her rudely that he ate no human food. He later found her corpse, haven been attacked by wolves, and revived her. Because he is Sesshomaru, he offers no explanations for his actions.
While the battle for the Jewel Shards went on, he mostly kept himself on the road since he felt he did not need the Shards; he was powerful enough. But when Naraku showed himself and he was close enough to get in, he completely went for him, even "working" with Inuyasha at one point. He did not help in Naraku's final destruction, though.
But now that Naraku has been defeated and Sesshomaru has given up his battle for the Tetsusaiga after he realized Inuyasha needed it to keep his demon blood in check, he has somewhat settled in the Western Lands, ruling when he needs to. As for the war between the East and the North.. he really couldn't care less about it..

The night was cool and damp, as expected for the beginning of Autumn. A slight breeze blew, ruffling his hair slightly. The moon, full and bright, hung highly in the sky, providing some light for the human soldiers he could see marching down the coastline. Sesshomaru scoffed slightly, watching as several soldiers let out a battle cry in the night; he'd certainly prove their strength wrong when they were least expecting it. They all deserved to die in his view; they were useless and weak, always believing they had some sort of influence and power when he could always wipe them out with a flick of his claws. Absolutely ridiculous!
He'd went off on his own again; he had no desire to wait up for what others called his 'companions,' nor did he want to stay still long enough for someone to try and speak to him. He surely wasn't in a rush, though; he walked with patience, taking his time to step foward. The sky had not been so bright as of late, he noticed. Narrowed golden eyes, void of any emotion, glanced casually up to the sky as he retreated into his thoughts, pleased by the silence around him.
You see, he was often surrounded by noise; Jaken always found some little detail to prattle on about, which he more often than not blocked out with his own thoughts. He would've guessed that with all the beatings he'd given, the little creature would know to stay silent until spoken to around someone of higher status such as himself.
He found himself knocked out of his thoughts by the scent of a few people coming downwind, straight toward him. And they were humans by the smells of it. He supposed he'd been spotted. Soon enough, he heard the voice of a young man, "Who's there!?" He was accompanied by two soldiers armed with wooden spears. Did they actually think they could harm him? He didn't waste his breath responding to them, brushing through the middle of the three without a second glance.
A soldier yelled out, "Hey, who do you think you are, walking past us without showing respect?" He attempted to strike with the spear, barely getting three inches near the demon. He fell to the floor like a board, blood flowing from a fresh wound on the base of his neck.
With a flick of his claws to rid them of the remaining blood, he glanced at the two remaining men, slightly entertained at the sign of them shaking in their boots. At least they'd learned their place. He turned, calmly continuing on his way; the other two would serve as a good way to warn the other humans, ensuring that they would stay out of his way while he made way out.
