Name: Michail/Icipher Azazel/Drak'shal
Age: -Unknown-
Alias The Terror of Novgorod
Origin Greece, the era of the Byzantine Empire.
Gender: Male
Race: Cursed Human/Mind Psion Devil
Orientation: Heterosexual
Moral Alignment: Neutral to Evil
Occupation: Mercenary, Reaver, Sorcerer.
Alignment: West
Appearance:
Michail is not the most intimidating of people, his body lightly muscled and slim as a whipcord. He has long black hair, with a few shots of crimson. A long, delicate scar exists in his face, leading from the jaw to the left cheek and until the forehead. His eyes are a strange mix of blue and green and his skin is pale. The veins in both of his arms are black and very visible, due to icipher's corruption. He has sharp, long black claws instead of nails in his left hand and his right one had it's nails pulled out, when he was tortured.
The Star of Chaos is carved on the front of his chest in black, the sign that marks him as the chosen of Abaddon and keeps the Archdevil Icipher bound inside him.
(For Demon and Greater Devil appearance see 'Pictures') When Icipher seizes control of Michail's mind and body, he starts corrupting his very essence, therefore also changing his appearance while in Human Form. His eyes turn red and his hair white. Instead of teeth Icipher grows black fangs and both his right and left hand have claws instead of nails. The Star of Chaos appears on his face, painted in black and giving him a sinister look.

Archdevil Form (cannot be reached until Icipher has full control over Michail, see Strengths & Weaknesses, as well as history.
Personality:
An intelligent and sarcastic individual, with a sharp and quick tongue, Michail's wits are his ultimate weapon. An excellent liar, he can mess with your mind, twisting the truth and telling half-lies. Even among his infamous and treacherous family, Michail stands as a study in utter ruthlessness, capable of doing any deed, no matter how terrible, in order to realise his dreams. Azazel always hides under masks of false innocense, fooling others and cunningly manipulating them, usually making them think that their deeds help the cause of good.
However, as sinister and twisted as he might appear, Michail could not be described as a force of evil. He is a grey man, capable of doing both good and evil as he sees fit.
Liar. Betrayer. Monster. Icipher is the very image of the powerful Archdevil, amazingly cruel and merciless, with huge saddistic appettites and gifted with otherwordly intelligence. His bloodlust and lies know no end, the blood and torment of entire nations simply not enough to please him. Even with his powers diminished by his imprisonment in Michail, he is still one of the most formidable and cunning beings that can be found on Earth.
Strengths:
Michael's Psionic Abilities and Mind Powers
1. Michail is a psion, a sorcerer of the mind. He can create projectiles of psionic energy and use them to burn, freeze or kinetically harm his opponents or create walls and barriers of matter and anti-matter energy to protect himself or others.
2. Like all psions, he can use the powers of his mind to empower his body, increasing his strength, speed and overall physical and mental attributes, like reflexes for example.
3.Telepathy and Telekinesis. He can read only the surface thoughts of those around him. (in a radius of 10 m) Also, he can move unorganic objects (nothing larger or heavier than a ten trees) (trees, etc etc) with his mind or send telekinetic blasts to harm the organic ones.
4. Psionic weapons. Michail can create weapons and armour for himself to use in battle. They have the same properties as normal weapons, but can only be summoned for 4 minutes.
5. The ability to transform himself in a demon or greater devil. (see 'Pictures')
6. He is also very skilled in the art of the sword.
Icipher's Infernal Powers
Icipher would normally have the powers of a god, but his imprisoned state within Michail had left him with the strength of a normal demon.
1. Blood Powers. Icipher can genarate and manipulate pools of blood and sent them in the form of projectiles to poison, physically harm or drown his enemies.
2. Illusion Animation. This is probably the only Archdevil power left to him. He can cast very realistic illusions at his enemies, capable of killing. The only way to break out of the illusion is two be physically damaged by something or manage to remain sane and alive during the duration of the spell.
3. Incredible strength and speed.
4. Icipher can also fully use Michail's powers, but with the same restrictions as him. (see 'Weaknesses')
Weaknesses:
[Michail's Weaknesses and Restrictions
Despite his large range of powers, Michail can only use them 6 (he can use one power six times, or two of them 3 times etc) times per day. Since all of his abilites are directly channeled through his mind, he needs to rest for at least eight hours before the can use the again. The same goes for Icipher. Also, the Archdevil Form can only be activated every 60 years, when Icipher gains complete control over Azazel for 6 weeks. (not going to activate anytime soon, so I won't say more about it)
Additionally, he is extremely vulnerable to holy powers, like those of a priest.
Now, about the different demon forms. The casual demon form doubles his physical and mental attributes and the Greater Devil one triples it. (the original attributes, not the demon-powered ones) However, Michail's/Icipher's bones are broken and his muscles are ripped open when he goes back to his original form (if he transforms back and the enemy is still alive...bye-bye Michail). Therefore, he needs to rest for three days before he can fight and activate them again,
Weapons: Weapons: The Hallowed Edge
It is a strange katana blade, long and majestic, yet radiating an aura of dislocation and otherwordly power. Michail found it while travelling along the coast of Siberia, deep within a strange catacomb. So far, the psion has not discovered the blade's abilities, but whenever he holds the sword, he can feel Icipher's hold over him loosen. This is more than a good reason for Michail to keep the Hallowed Edge.
See Picture Here
**EDIT**
After the battle between Redemption and Michail, when she used the Hallowed Edge to transfer the psionic power to the mind mage and break Icipher's hold over him, the sword overloaded and changed shape. You can see a picture of the transformed Hallowed Edge Here.

History: ((Long-@$$ history, but I was sick and had nothing better to do at that time.))
Michail Naggorites/Azazel was born in the greek part of the Byzantine Empire, 982 A.D., in the Pella province. He came from a wealthy, powerful and corrupted family of psions, who had made ancient pacts with the Eight Archdevils of Avernus, the demonic Lords of the brass plains of Stygia, the cycle of hell where the souls of the violent and the desceptful were cast. In return for the terrible they were granted, the Eight required the sacrifise of a male child every 30 years. Upon Michail's birth, the 29th year since last time had already passed, so he became the sacrifise. For an unknown reason, his soul was not destroyed as it should've been, but was cast out of Hell and returned to his body. Fearing that this meant the end of the pact between the Eight, the Naggor family abandoned Michail in the forests of Pella, leaving him for the wolves.
Unfortunately, the child was found by a slaver, who sold him to a Justaerin House, where he was raised and became a household servant. Oblivious to his heritage and psionic nature, Michail remained a servant until his 14th year, when the Naggor family and the Sevantes met to discuss an alliance between them. At some point during their meeting, the patriarch of the Naggor, Diomides, called for a refreshment, which Michail served. Immidiately recognising the boy's face, he suspected that the Sevantes were using him as a means to blackmail him into the alliance. Naturally, the meeting ended in a bloody reckoning, where the House of Sevantes was ahnilated and Michail was taken back to Pella. Reluctantly, they allowed the youth to live among them, teaching him the ways of a psion and training in the use of his abilites and combat.
Upon reaching adulthood 4 years later, Michail served his family as an assassin and spy, using his sharp wits to gain a position in the byzantine Imperial Court and managing to stay close with the Emperor Nikiforos. He quietly ahnilated any noble that dared go against the Naggor family and did an excellent work in finding out traitors, earning him respect with his family. However, they still remembered the way the Eight had cast him out of Hell as a babe and kept mistrusting him. And with good reason. Soon after his 25th year something terrible started awakening inside of him. For months Michail would hear whispers in his mind and wake up screaming in the dead of night, seeing visions of Stygia and the Eight Lords of Avernus.
When a year passed, Michail and seven of his clan members were sent by the Naggor family to uncover and collect an artifact from an underground tomb in Asia Minor. The tomb was no other than the Maussolium of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Upon entering the main chamber of the tomb, Michail and his party were attacked by a large number of mummified corpses, led by Mausolus himself, the ancient greek king that was buried there. Unable to overcome the terrible undead lord, Michail awakened all of his psionic powers at once, trying to bring the whole mausolium down and take the undead with him, in an act of spiteful revenge. Instead, he opened a portal to Stygia, filling the tomb with the infernal power of Hell and turning every mummy inside to dust. Due to the connection between Earth and Hell, Icipher managed to fully awaken, creating the Star of Chaos upon Michail's chest and assaulted the psion's mind, corrutping him and making him lose control.
For the next 10 years he lived like a mindless animal, dwelling in the deep woods and hunting down both the creatures of the forest and humans for food or simply for the pleasure of slaughter. When the Archdevil's influence subsided, Michail regained control of his mind and set out for Pella. Upon reaching the stronghold of the Naggorites on the high mountains, he was attacked by them. Urged by Icipher, he killed the attackers and slaughtered every one in the stronghold, driven by the Archdevil's lies that his family had cursed him and tried to kill him, back in the tomb. A kinslayer now, Michail left the Byzantine Empire and headed north.
~The Years of Exile
Unable to return to his homeland, Michail became a mercenary and left for northeastern Europe, taking part in the wars between the lords of the Rus and Poland. With his psionic powers, superior sword skills, sharp wits and demon-fueled physical attributes, he descended upon his enemy like a tempest and soon became famous. The lord of Novgorod, east of the Baltic, offered him a place in his honor guard, which Michail gladly took. For 5 years he remained there, bathing in gold, glory and the blood of his enemies. However, the good times were not meant to last. When the Rus launched a campaign against Sweden, Michail marched along with the armies of Novgorod. When the campaign was succesful, the nations of the Rus started fighting among themselves for control over the conquered lands. Michail himself led the armies of Novgorod against Kiev, taking the city by siege and was soon promised the lordship over his conquered city by his lord and master. However, he gave Kiev to his first-born son, forsaking his promise to the psion.
Feeling betrayed and fed with Icipher's wrath, Michail and his troops abandoned the city and layed siege to Novgorod. After a year, the citadel finally fell and Azazel's impatient troops sacked the city, filling it with dead bodies and pillaging everything. It was then when Michail came to be known as The Terror of Novgorod. The mercenary impaled his former lord upon a stake and placed it on the city walls, for all to see. Immidiately after that, he left for the city-states of Germany. His army, dismayed by the loss of their leader, fell apart, the men forming mercenary bands and leaving Novgorod.
~Years of Reckoning
When he arrived in the lands of the former Holy Roman Empire, he was immidiately arrested by the Roman Inquisition, under the charge of heresy and witchcraft practising. Using his powers and wits, he manipulated the inquisitors and led them to believe that he was a warrior blessed by God. Michail was immidiately led to the Pope himself, who he manipulated as well, making him think the same as the inquisitors. The psion was immidiately given a duty by the church, rooting out and slaying demons and taking the mantle of the Inquisition as well, torturing 'heretics' and other enemies of the Church. Soon, however, he was given an offer he could not resist. A demon, named Arguthax, approached him and proposed to tell him the location of his surviving family members...if he would kill the Pope for him. Despite Michail's dislike for the Church, he was not foolish enough to do it and ripped the demon's soul out instead, throwing in the boiling pits of Avernus. After sometime, the demon finally spat out location of the surviving Naggorites. In return, Michail freed him and abandoned his duty an an inquisitor, setting out to claim his vengeance.
After a few years, he tracked down and brutally murdered all of his family in Europe, learning that more of them lived in Asia. The possesed psion left for the Middle East, where he got caught up in the 4th Crusade, which found him against his homeland, the Byzantium. He was with the Crusader's when they sacked Constantinople, taking part in the slaughter. Sick with his actions and realising the hold Icipher held over him, Michail abandoned his quest for revenge and left for Siberia, but kept mentally fighting the Archdevil for his soul and sanity.
~Beggining of the End
The psion was crossing the frozen steps of Siberia all alone and -amazingly- managed to stay alive. The time in the wild made to start thinking about how to break the hold the demon had over him, but no matter how hard he tried, Icipher kept inhabiting the darkest corner's of Azazel's mind. When he reached the eastern Russian shores, Michail discovered the Hallowed Edge, an otherwordly katana blade that somehow loosened the Archdevil's influence over his mind. The psion now travelled to the south and reached China, where he took a ship to Japan. Currently, he is wandering the countryside, trying not to get caught up in the war that rages all around him.
RP Sample: "Stand fast! Stand fast, you sleepersons!" the psion screamed, drawing his longsword to add weight to the command, his left hand holding a tight grip on the reins of his black destrier. His eyes scanned the battlefield, measuring the level of destruction. God, it was bad. He would be lucky if a couple thousand infantrymen and a handful of mounted Boyars were still alive before the day was over. Well, one problem at a time. Right now we need to rally the men and break out of this trap, he thought, looking at the fleeing men. "Who is the commanding officer among you?!" Michail screamed, trying to be heard above the mayem of the battle. A mounted man stopped before him, staring at him with fearful eyes. "I am, m'lord. This is a rout! We need to flee now or-" His words were cut short by a swing of Michail's blade, that severed his head. The entire cavarly stopped fleeing and looked at the psion. That caught their attention
"Who is the commanding officer among you now? he asked. A scarred man, his face battered by many old battle wounds, spurred his mount foward. "I am, lord" he said. "Good. I have brought with me three banners of foot and one of horse. Novgorod commands that we win this battle and we will. Time to break the jaws of this trap wide open. Michail exclaimed and without waiting for a reply, rode foward. The reinforcements he had brought with him were waiting behind, the footmen deploying in organised ranks and the cavarly following him into the fray. Ahead of him the forces of Novgorod were assaulted on both flanks. It wouldn't be long before one man threw down his spear and started running for his life. And when that happened, a thousand more would break, and they would break bad.
"Form up in column!" Michail barked to the men behind him as he rode towards the enemy's un protected right flank, made up of infantry. They had barely time to register the appearance of two thousand mounted warriors, as they were pushing the novgorodian forces from two sides. "CHARGE" Michail shouted, his eyes shinihg with battle lust and his black hair dancing wildly in the freezing northern wind. The cavarly punched through the enemy men like a spear through cheese, shouts and cries of pain rising from all directions. Michail himself laughed like a madman, slashing at unprotected necks and heads as he rode through the lines. Their infantry, seeing that help had arrived at last, redoubled their efforts, slowly but gradually pushing their enemies back. The right flank, no longer able to withstand the charge of the mounted Novgorodians, broke and started fleeing.
"Forget about them!" To the left the psion shouted at his men as he led them at the opposite enemy flank. These men had disenganged, forsaking the trapped infantry and forming up in a single line on the hill, seeing that the tables had abruptly turned. The banners of spearmen Michail had brought with him finally mobilised, moving up the hill with their shields held high. But without help from the cavarly, they would be slaughtered.
The horsemen around Michail formed three columns and began advancing, striking at the back of the enemy lines. However, the race up the hill was not an easy one and it gave the enemy infantry the chance to re-deploy themselves, placing a wall of spears in the face of the horsemen.
"What do we do now, sir?" a man next to Michail asked him. The psion looked at the spearmen and said: "They outnumber us, have a better position and their spears can probably hack us to pieces" he said quielty and shifted his gaze to the man. "What else? We attack.

Michail screamed, trying to be heard above the mayem of the battle.
"What else? We attack.
