Name: Sango
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Moral Alignment: Good
Occupation: Taijiya (Demon Slayer)
Alignment: West/Traveler
Appearance: Sango has a strong, athletic, but still slender frame from her years training as a Taijiya, or demon slayer. She has neatly chopped bangs and long dark brown hair that reaches toward her waist, which she keeps in a ponytail when fighting. Her armor is mostly black, but has shoulder pads, elbow pads, a stomach pad, and kneed pads that are pink, along with a red ribbon tied around her waist, with black boots that go halfway up her calf. This tight-fitting outfit provides for the best maneuverability.
Sango has light brown eyes that would remind one most of milk chocolate. They are normally soft, but will go fierce if she is really angry. She usually draws a line of pink over them. The soft features on her sharp and pale face are few, but generate an aura of hidden power.
When not fighting, she wears a light pink kimono that is accented with darker neat the hands, the neckline, and the bottom. Over this she ties a pale green skirt. Under this she wears black leggings that end just above her ankle, which match the black "arm socks" that start at her elbow and cover her palms, but not her fingers. She also ties a blue scarf around her neck and ends the outfit with simple sandals.
Personality: If there was one thing to remember about Sango, it is the fact that she never gives up. Even when she feels like her life is leaving her, she will struggle to defend herself and the ones she loves. She is always determined to perform to the best of her ability and gives her all no matter what the cost. When she fights, she is fierce and confident with quiet perseverance.
At the heart though, she is kind, and always wanting to do what is right. She is always ready to do something for others even if there is no benefit for herself. Though she often needs alone time, she likes to be in the presence of others where she can forget the scars of the past. It takes her a little while to be comfortable with others, and even longer to totally trust them, but when she opens up, she is a pleasant and reliable friend. However, she is extremely stubborn, and will often be sarcastic. And now matter how well she knows someone, she will not accept help willingly. She absolutely hates to act the part of a 'damsel in distress.'
But underneath this strong facade, Sango is still deeply heartbroken for her old life in the village of the demon slayers, and she will never truly forget this. She finds some consolation in her newfound friends, but she will forever be searching for revenge to avenge her people.

History:
Sango was born in Taijiya Village, or the Demon Slayer Village that was kept hidden in the mountains. She learned at a very young age the art of demon slaying from her father, who was the head of the village. she received her weapon, Hirakotsu, when she was ten and she trained hard with it to please her father.
She also had a little brother named Kohaku. She loved her brother dearly, and she always was trying to put some confidence in him. But deep inside her, she thought that the life of a demon slayer wasn't the right one for Kohaku. She could see him more as a poet or musician from the way he interacted with the natural world. But she also knew that there was no way he'd want to disappoint their father, and so they both had to believe that he was on the right path.
One day, a local castle called for the best exterminators. Sango and her father answered, along with some other warriors. It was also going to be Kohaku's first battle. The slayers easily take down the spider demon, but Sango senses that something isn't right, and her hunch was correct. Naraku, who is disguised as Kagewaki, a prince, takes control of Kohaku and kills her father and the other exterminators. Kohaku then tries to kill Sango, but he only succeeds in scarring her back. Sango sees a web that connects Kohaku to the lord of the castle, and so she attacks him, but the lord orders to fire upon Sango and Kohaku. For just a second, Kohaku regains himself and realizes it was him who killed their father and comrades. Then the arrows come, and he is killed, with Sango lying on top of him. Then Naraku kills the lord, and orders the slayers to be buried.
Only, Sango isn't dead yet. She climbs out of the grave, and she is cared for by Kagewaki (Naraku). In his care, she finds out that her village was destroyed by a half-demon named Inuyasha. She decides to go kill him, despite her injuries. Kagewaki (Naraku) sends Naraku (The puppet) to go with her. Naraku's puppet gives Sango a shikon shard to get rid of the pain.
At the village, she attacks Inuyasha and his crew. They are only confused, seeing as it was not them at all who attacked the village. However, Sango cannot fight very well, but Inuyasha refuses to kill her. Instead, they go after Naraku and fight him, and then find out he was only a puppet. Sango learns that it was Naraku instead of Inuyasha that destroyed her village. Before he goes, he takes back the shikon shard he gave to her. She passes out from the pain that she couldn't feel before. She is cared for by Kagome and Miroku. After this, she decides to join them to avenge her father, Kohaku, and her village.
But now that Naraku has supposedly been defeated, and the jewel put together, her main worry is taking care of Kohaku. They both still suffer from the pains of that day and Sango knows they must both work hard if they are ever to be the same again.
RP Sample:
The sun rays of the dawn light were bright, but cold; something that didn't seem quite right to Sango as she sat on the pale green hillside that was still blanketed with the morning dew. It seemed unfair that the pale orange clouds lied in what would seem an obvious hint of warmth. She crossed her arms over her chest and lightly rubbed her forearms as she creased her eyebrows, staring at the Eastern sky.
It was one of those qualities of herself that not many knew, her love of warmth. Some days all she wanted to do was curl up in the sunlight, and forget about everything else. It made her feel like nothing else mattered, that if she was warm on the outside, she could be warm on the inside too. She rest her chin on her hands for a second before giving up and flopping back on the grass. It was cruel that the sun should be so cold and weak, not when she so deeply needed heat and strength, strength that she would need to make it through the day. But alas, with her luck, it was obvious that when she needed energy the most there would be none to be had.
