Kagome Higurashi sighed slightly, her gaze lightening. The weather seemed to be a bit nice, at least for now. All seemed calm and quiet, though she knew that wouldn’t last. In the feudal era, nothing was too quiet for long. She sighed slightly, letting her eyes close as she seemed to enjoy the quiet. For once no random demon came to attack her, nor the village. She of course had the shikon jewel around her neck, and now had her pale fingertips were around it, her expression was quite innocent, though she was sure that something was going to happen soon.
She blinked slightly for a brief moment as she turned around slightly and glanced at the tree that she was leaning upon. The Memories[i/] it brought back. So many of them swirled in her mind now. The first time she had arrived in the feudal era, she remembered from that moment about seeing the tree. She remembered meeting Inuyasha here for the first time as well. It was against this tree that she had freed him when being attacked by a demon, and the tree that Kikyo, the woman she was reincarnated from had slain Inuyasha to the tree only for Kagome to free him. She sighed, all of the memories the tree had. The forest seemed at peace for now, and for today looked extremely beautiful. She couldn’t help but smile when she stared around at her surroundings, but maybe she would be attacked for the Shikon Jewel, it wasn’t the first time, but you couldn’t be sure about your safety here.
In truth, she wished she could go home, but right now, there was no possible way since that way was destroyed, leaving her there to fend for herself pretty much and stay in the feudal era. She really did miss her friends and her family too, and those ideas all seemed to swarm in her mind, over and over again in a never ending cycle. It seemed a little dull, but she memorized the events as she sat there calmy, still wondering what events lie alone waiting to happen.

(hope you don't mind me joining.) She followed him in the air, not wanting to alert her presence to him just yet. The demon was resting on a branch that was attached to large tree, looking out to a village that wasn’t too far away. She watched him from a far so that her scent would be detected.
He looked like he was getting ready to attack yet another village when something caught his attention deeper in the forest. He changed routes and De-va watched as he started to approach a human.
“She’s a priestess, My Lady.” The dragon spoke from her right.
The woman frowned, her natural enemy. Should she just let this demon attack her? It’ll be one less miko to worry about. It didn’t matter to her if this miko lived or not, this demon was her kill and the phoenix wouldn’t let anybody else have him.
The southern lady unsheathed Zerimura and sent out a black blade to cut the demon behind his knees. With a painful gurgle, the demon fell to the floor just a few yards away from the young girl. He turned around to see what had happened, and De-va landed before him, still holding her signature sword. With a clean swipe she stabbed the demon in his heart, twisting the blade to ensure that it had hit the intended target.
After ensuring his death, she looked up and at the human miko. The fire in her started burning heatedly, reacting to the purity around the girl.
Her hands twitched into fists, but the voice of her companion caught her attention, “she’s different from the rest,” he spoke up, loud enough for the human to hear.
“I don’t care, I got what I came here for,” the demoness pulled her sword out from the chest of the now dead demon and started to walk away.
“Who are you?” Nova called out before De-va had the chance to object.

Kagome wasn’t sure if there was anything to do at all, or today. It was a little annoying to have nothing to do. To think that you just had to sit there and have nothing to do but be bored. She didn’t want to have to do this. She bit her bottom lip a bit as she began to think slightly. It was different. It was weird, but she just got the feeling that something was going to happen. Not just the feeling that something could happen, but that something would happen. It wasn’t just a feeling anymore once she had gotten the feeling of a demons presence nearby.
She turned after a moment when she had the feeling of an approaching demon. She let her eyes close for a moment. It was odd in a way, but she grabbed her bow and arrows and turned to see De-va with a sword. She blinked slightly as she watched the female kill the demon. It was pretty quick too. She sighed after a moment. She blinked when she had heard the voice of the female’s companion speak loud enough for her to hear. She blinked wondering how she was different from the rest. Maybe it was just the fact that she had the shikon jewel, or was the reincarnation of Kikyo, something like that, but she was used to hearing thing like that by now, but for some strange reason, she still seemed to wonder what it was about. She stared slightly, wondering if it was okay for her to speak. She sighed after a moment, letting her gaze lighten.
It was odd, but Kagome wondered what would happen if she would speak. She saw the female pull the sword out of the demon and begin to walk away, but the thing on her shoulder spoke once more asking for her name. She blinked slightly, but replied anyways, “My name is Kagome Higurashi.” She said after a moment, “And thanks for saving me,” she finished, wondering if the female would turn back at all.

Ryu traveled through the woods. He was running sensing a demon. He jumped on a branch and continued on. After a while the scent was stronger and stronger, that was when he sensed the Shikon Jewel. "huh the sacred jewel. i need it turn to into a demon." he hurried wanting the jewel. He stopped when he saw the carrier of the jewel and the demon he sensed a while back. He had to decide which was more important so he chose the jewel.
He jumped in the sky and took out one of his swords.

Of all the things in the world, the thing that she had seemed to attract the most was trouble. Why in the world did everything have to work out that way for her is what she seemed to wonder over and over again every time she was attacked, or even kidnapped. Though it seemed obvious to ehy she was a target for right now.
Kagome Higurashi now had the full possession of the Shikon Jewel, and of course she knew what she had to do. She knew that she had to protect it, to keep it safe, though she was helpless without Inuyasha around. She seemed to frown slightly. What was it exactly that made her feel so uneasy right now. Obviously it had to be something, for she seemed to be sensing danger. It was a normal thing for her, but for some reason, her danger radar was on high now as she just seemed to stare ahead of her. She knew deep down in her heart that someone or something was coming, and she hoped it was Inuyasha, though with her luck it would be a demon, so she let her hand lay on her bow for a brief moment, ready to grab it and fire a sacred arrow at anyone who tried to attack her.

Amaya wasn't planning on attacking lesser demons. In fact, she didn't plan on doing much of anything. All she really wanted to do was relax as she strolled about her lands and ponder how much she has learned, and how much she has yet to learn. There were no Spirit Demons that she knew of, but there were others out there, the Lady of the Eastern Lands knew. It was an inherit power that all Spirit Demons had, not matter which kind they were.
So, Amaya had taken to the Forest of Inuyasha, one of her favorite places to go when she wanted some peace and quiet. The villagers did not seem bothered by her presence, though it seemed like they knew that they were guarded over by both Inuyasha and Amaya. She didn't have a problem with it. In fact ... Wait, the Shikon no Tama. That must mean that Kagome was near by. And so was a demon that was charging at her. With no time to lose, Amaya drew Kenkon, the sword of both heaven and earth, and charged at the demon headed for Kagome.

As Ryu kept rising in the air he had a better and better view of the human with the shikon jewel, but he could also sense a demon approaching. 'Gotta make this quick' he thought to himself. He lunged at the girl landing near her. "Give me the jewel and I won't have to kill you." When the girl refused he threw one of his two dragon swords just missing her head. "Give me it or next time you see me draw my sword it will be your last."
He drew he second sword and readied it sensing the demon getting closer and closer every second. "Give me it NOW."

Amaya came in view of Kagome and the other demon. No, wait; a half-breed. Despicable really. Some, whether they were lesser demons, human, or half-breeds, just won't learn from the mistakes made by others. Anyway, Amaya came charging in, Kenkon drawn and swung at the half-breed; missing of course, but the meaning was there. There was no way that she was going to let the Shikon no Tama fall into his hands. The half-demon, Amaya saw, had drawn his other sword.
"You're bold for a half-breed," she said, taking a stance between him and Kagome. "And I can tell it's because of the Jewel. Stupid half-breed."

He was right a demon was nearby. "I would suggest you don't call me stupid because..." he jumped towards his sword that he first threw, grabbed it and got in his fighting stance; one sword behind his head pointing at the enemy, the other sword pointing straight forward at the enemy. "You gave me the chance to get my sword," he finished. "Now demon my name is Ryu Hayabusa, i presume you are Amaya, I've heard of you in my travels. But for now just step aside I will deal with you after this pathetic reincarnation."
He began to growl under his mask, bended his knees a bit further then they were already and his eyes grew larger with enthusiasm. "Now i would suggest you move or i kill you."

"You assume much if you believe you can kill me, Ryu Hayabusa. I'm not a mere demon you can kill with a mere swing of your swords."
Amaya took a small portion of her concentration, just the smallest portion but large enough to focus, and searched for Ryu's spirit. Finding it was easy enough; and she knew she couldn't control it just by touching it just the slightest. But perhaps she could steer it away from Kagome and the Jewel.
"Besides, what makes you think you can handle the Jewel? You can't."
Amaya charged at Ryu, sword at the ready to swing.

"Control it? Haha I just wanna become a full demon." He jumped away from the charging demon and dodged every attack. He jumped around for a while dodging whe he saw an opening and attacked, of course missing. He charged at the demon and swung right for the heart of, but it got too far away from Ryu and he stopped in his tracks, headed back and went for the jewel.

Amaya missed, naturally, but managed to dodge the attacks aimed at her. One sword was thrown, but managed to redirect it elsewhere from her; sensing it was a type of ryuu sword. She didn't find any openings, but she didn't need them.
"Just like half of the half-breeds out there," Amaya retorted. "Thinking you can handle all that youkai blood flowing through you."
Then Ryu made a break for Kagome and the Jewel. With little, if no, time to reach her before the half-breed, Amaya grabbed hold of Ryu's spirit and made it stop in its tracks; therefore stopping Ryu.
((Hope you don't mind the Gmodding.))

OOC: then i hope you dont mind this.
IC: As Ryu stood there struggling to move he tired to summn his dragon swords' full powers. He tried and tried but nothing happened, "you think you can beat me me. haha, stupid demons thinking your better then everyone else." The swods drew an aura summoning the dragons confned in the swords powers'. The dragons shot out of the swords and headed for the demon causing the demon to free Ryu. Both dragons shot full speed for the demon both going straight through her but neither doiing any real damage only a few scraches. The dragons retreated and shots massive balls of fire at the demon. During this Ryu continued to head for the jewel.

"You honestly thought that a dragon attack against a dragon would make a difference? Ha."
Stubborn fool. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that this Ryu was like Inuyasha all those years ago, Amaya thought. She had heard of what Inuyasha had done, only through word of mouth though. Now... it was as if it had never happened.
Amaya focused harder and spirits, for that was what Konjou meant, appeared in Ryu's path; blocking the way. Dropping to a knee, the Konjou Ryuu focused on maintaining those and attempting to bring forth a few more; unsure if this was going to work. She wasn't fully trained in this aspect, but she knew what she was doing.
"You're a fool if you think you can take on them," Amaya said, pertaining to the spirits she had called forth.

He stopped moving and the dragons were by his side. 'd**n it, she's stronger then most demons' he thought to himself. The ragons he summoned went straight towards the spirits destroying one of them. He jumped towards another slicing it in half. "Well she certainy now has my full attention." He charged at the demon He swung his sword 3 ties each missing the demon as she was too fast but he could keep up with her. He made a strong leap for her and a dragon scrached her armor.
He stopped charging the demon and spoke, "why do you care about who takes the jewel?"
