Taro had been walking around for a good three days and only stopped for food and rest. Today, he would stop and spend the day in something nice and relaxing and what could be more relaxing then a hot spring? So, while running through the forest, he occassionally stop and sniffed the air. The closer he got to the springs, the more he wanted to stay away from it. The reason because the smell that entered his nose was the familiar smell of blood. The teen had an idea to turn away, but at the same time, the blood could be of someone who was still alive and wounded. So, deciding to play the hero, Taro kept running to the hot spring.
Since Taro was from the north, it would be no problem for him to find the hot springs. It was shown to him by his sister when they would come there after training. It was a perfect place to clear your mind, relax your body, and rejuvenate the mind. The smell of blood was stronger which made Taro stop in his tracks.
"Hey! Anybody need any help?" He yelled. Nothing. He decided that it wasn't such a good idea for him to stress over the blood and enjoy himself. His ears perked up and his tail went into a wagging type stage, as he took off his shirt and ran to the nearest hotspring. He jumped inside of the hot spring, holding his breath when going under. He swam to the edge of the pool and sniffed. Another faint smell came to him. This time, it was the smell of another wolf.
"Ah well, if it's another wolf then I shouldn't be too worried!" He said laughing.

She dropped from the tree in one quick, fluid movement, a movement too graceful to be human. Tsu landed once more in a slight, tense crouch, before standing straight and smiling one of her mocking, knowing smiles. "Shouldn't be too worried? You think I pose no threat to you, hanyou? I'd think again if I were you" With a cold, tinkling laugh of her own, Tsuzuki edged forward a little. Then a little more. She began to circle him, watching through narrowed, predatory eyes. "So little hanyou, starting to rethink things yet? Or am I going to have to convince you?" [/ul][/blockquote]

Taro looked around for that voice and soon found the person who was talking to him -or rather insulting him. The wolf laughed for a second and placed his hand behind his head.
"No, I didn't mean it like that! I'm sure you can pose as a threat to somebody!" He said with a nervous laugh.
Hanyou...Oh she means me! Taro thought. Normally when someone was mentioned they was a half-breed right to their face, they would jump up and attack to defend their honor. Not Taro, simply because he found nothing wrong about being half demon and half human. Still, he was a little nervous when he heard the startling voice come a nearby tree. He watched as the girl circled around him, eyeing him like a wounded prey. He was a little creeped out with this movement and to letting caution get the better of him, he moved away from the edge to the center of the springs while looking at the woman.
"Ya know, Hanyou isn't my name ma'am," He said. He studied the woman and could tell that she was either very aggressive or happened to be pissed off. "My name is Taro and yours?"
He closed his eyes and sighed, only to look back at the girl once again.
"I'd say you saw me as a threat to you then the other way 'round. Weird considering violence was the last thing that crossed my mind." He said with a smirk.

Is that an insult, boy? Do I not frighten you?" The grin on her face nutsed to an almost hurt, almost innocent look. But the evil sparkle in her wide pink eyes told a different story. She stopped circling, standing behind him, and staring with an almost frightening intensity. Tsuzuki stood there, staring, the expression leaving her face... and turning back into that nasty grin of hers. "I do not care for your name, half breed, and I don't see how mine might be of any concern to the likes of you. And I would think it to be a wise lesson to you not to question your superiors. Speak when spoken too, hanyou."She tossed her head and tapped her fingers against her hip in a thoughtless act of bordom before begining to pace once more, this time in smaller and smaller circles around Taro. "You think I saw you as a threat? You must be simply mad! That laugh again. Like breaking ice. Shattering glass. Then sudden silence. "Dont you ever make the mistake that your presence worries me, and I think you might be even the slightest bit dangerous to me. Methinks it not smart to speak for demons, and even less intelligent to make then angry."Though she smiled, her voice was cold, sharp, hissed through gritted fangs. "But, oh dear, I must say you have irked me a bit. Am I going to have to teach you this lesson myself?"[/ul][/blockquote]

Taro laughed for a second and blew some breath out. Either the steams of the water was getting to him or he was just trying to piss off somebody. The girl looked about his age and probably around his height. Curiosity got the better of him as he made his way out of the spring and reached the surface. When he got out, he shook the water off of him having his tail move to the left and right until it was dry.
"Insult? Not what I was playing for but hey, if it insulted you then I'll apologize if you want me to." He said with a smile. He decided to get on his defense and as she circled him, like he was playing follow the leader, he did the same. He then stopped and went to a tree and looked up inside the branches.
"Hey, there's any fruits in there? No there shouldn't be right 'cause of the winter." He said disappointingly. He then turned back to the girl and scratched his head.
"Well knowing your name would be easier then calling you girl or woman. That's like being rude and disrespectful and disrepecting a woman is a bad thing...ain't it?" He said. "And Taro! Taro! Taro! The name is Taro...oh sorry 'bout that. Don't question my superiors, got it." Bull he thought. He then heard her laugh and he had to grind his teeth and twitched his ears. Then she stopped. Her words was sharp and it actually stole his breath in a bad way. "Aw, so you don't think I'm not dangerous or threatening? You sure do know how to hurt a guy madam. True but technically since I'm half demon, everything you said applied to me in some ways!" He said smiling. "And we're like family you and me. We're both wolves and demon. See." He moved up and swished his tail in her direction.
"Wolf demon and you're the same as well," He said sniffing in her direction. Taro knew what he was doing and was smiling throughout the whole performance. If she resorted to violence, so would he. Until then, he just saw her as another wolf with a bad attitude. The last question he asked, he avoided completely and gave her his own question.
"How old are you? You're about my height and you don't look that old well...except for your hair."

The demoness gave him a lazy, quizzical look, stopping her pacing once more to fold her arms and arch a delicate white eyebrow in his direction. No, there wouldn't be a fruit here, yes it's winter, what is this half demon getting at and what kind of fool does he take me for... She shook her head and sighed, as if she were dealing with a disobedient child. Though in her opinion, this was no better. "If you absolutely must know, my name is Tsuzuki. 'Tsu' with the kanji for 'capital' and 'Zuki' as in the instrument. Are you happy now? Now, you sexist bastard, if you don't want to disrespect the woman, get the hell out of my sight." Her once psuedo-happy expression turned venomous, and her words dripped malice. Few things could get Tsuzuki to break her cool facade. But her very short temper did sometimes get the better of her. "Don't you dare compare me to the likes of you, scum. You are no family of mine"and gods know I have enough family already..."You are nothing more than a half breed fool. Whichever parent of yours was Yourouzoku is a traitor to my species and whichever was human is possibly stupider than you are." Her own white tail thrashed in anger. How dare that whelp compare himself to her. Her, full blooded wolf demon, her, daughter of a Northern pack leader. No matter how much of a bastard her father was, there was always that card to play... You could feel the temperature in the clearing drop, even dispite the heat rising from the hot springs. "I am much older, and much more powerful than you know boy. My hair is only white because I am albino you bloody imbicile." Insulting her people, and insulting her appearance... two ways to make Tsuzuki very, very angry. In her own oppinion, she was beautiful. In her own oppinion, she was the greatest thing since sliced bread... and since sliced bread was yet to be invented, you do the math. "In some rare cases, changing the subject is a smart idea!" He said. Taro sneezed as sat down on the grass, putting his feet in the hot spring's water. He motioned for her to sit down as well.
"Ecstatic, Tsuzuki eh? Nice name miss Tsuzuki!" He said with a smiled. Taro's face turned to a blank when she called him a sexist bastard causing him to scratch his head in confusion. He looked at her face when he compared her to his family. He played it cool that was until she said his parents was a traitor to his face. That struck a nerve. He stood up and walked to her, barring his teeth and growling. He balled his hand into a tight fist and yelled at the woman.
"Listen! Who do you think you are disrespecting me like that, Tsuzuki!" He shouted.
His serious facial expression turned into a small smirk.
"What, didn't think I could get so serious did ya?" He said.
