The Eastern and Northern lands are on the brink of war, due to people lost in skirmishes along the borders and in each other’s territories. One more big issue between them could be the cause of a declaration of war, the first in centuries. The Western and Southern territories have decided to keep out of the others’ problem, and for the most part, they just ignore them.
Naraku has undertaken the name of a rich young lord in the village of Maylin, unknown to Inuyasha and his companions, or anyone else, for that matter, for Naraku is suspected to be dead for the final time. The group has regained all shards of the Shikon Jewel, and it is now safely in Kagome’s hands.
There is a small issue that has arisen. The Bone-Eater’s well has been destroyed and rendered useless. As for who did it or how it happened, no one knows. All that is certain is that Kagome won’t be going home anytime soon. Supposedly, there is a way to get back home, but they haven’t discovered it yet, and actually, that’s one of the things they are currently searching for. For this reason, the group has yet to disperse; not very often, at least. |
