The river sparkled in the morning's light as she lend over working on the leather is stolen from a nearby village, she torn them into three stripes and braided them tightly. Mamoru laid lazily to the side breathing heavily the heat messed with his large ear causing them to flick. They quiver and stirred, as he peeked at shikyo and breathed out a sigh. "Tell me, are you almost done?" Shikyo sighed her self, peeking over her shoulder to read the impatience in his eyes. "Almost Mamoru, I just have to make sure it doesn't unravels and hits me OK?"
Mamoru groaned and stood towering over Shikyo's hunched form looking over her shoulder's breathing on her neck. "that doesn't help me Mamoru, I''m...almost...there done!" She held up the beautiful crafted whip and stood letting it hang to the ground; the end curled up like a adder in the open. Mamoru grin and jumped in front of Shikyo in a crouched position; front legs slightly about and his back arch down to the ground."training begins now Shikyo."
Shikyo nodded and tried an overhand snap, leaving her mid and lower body unprotected and exposed. Mamoru was in a position to attack her vulnerable spot. "Careless...". Shikyo faked a setup for a low crack Mamoru moved to avoid the blow, she brought the movement around full circle and strike high. The blow landed home and slice opened Mamoru’s skin. "hmm careless", Shikyo grin and snapped the whip mere inches from his face, now they are engaged in a no mercy duel. Mamoru lazily snapped his jaws at her, she knew his game well, but this was different she relaxed trying to figure out his plan. As soon as Shikyo let her thoughts run he snapped his jaw and lurched forward, and it landed an inch from her skin, then wrapped around her neck.
His weight knocked her to the ground, his teeth hold gently. "Like I said...careless..." He lets go and backs up allowing her to sit up. She set up and nodded, "OK shall we continue?" She jumped up and Mamoru grin getting back into position. "I am ready..."

OOC: you have two characters?
Ryu walked down a path when he heard a fight or at least that's what he could hear nearby. He smelt the scent of a human and a demon. "well its not a fight other wise there would be blood from the human, but then again it could be anther half demon such as myself. Doesn't matter either way something is going to happen."
He continued to walk when he made it to the top of a hill he could see two figures in the distance. He picked up on his walk and sped walk. He made it two be within 50 meters of them when they saw him. He walked closer and closer to them when he was only a couple of meters away."What, dont mind me just continue your, fight i would say you'll are doing." He walked off of the trail and leaned up against a tree and just watched them.

Mamoru stopped and looked to the man growling under his breath, "You can watch...". Mamoru stalked forward toward the man, shikyo didn't want this to break out into a fight. Shikyo imploded the same maneuver Mamoru used on her; Shikyo snapped her whip and lurched it forward, and it landed an inch from mamoru's thick neck, then wrapped around his neck.
"No fights please Mamoru..." Mamoru growled looking back at Shikyo before he could under another word, he saw shikyo's left leg shaking. He relaxed,"I know better..." She shake the whip free from his neck while shikyo smiled to the man, "Who are you and what is your name?"
Shikyo snapped the whip behind her as Mamoru ears seem to twitch. "I know that twitch Mamoru, stop it!" she shook her head, "alway itching to protect me...", Mamoru snorted, "d**n right, now half breed state your name or leave!"
OOC: Sorta of, Mamoru is more of a pet that will sooner or later die; need to find shikyo someone before that happens or she will go back into slavery.

"Well if you wanna know so bad, my name is Ryu Hayabusa." He said with a bow. He crossed his arms getting them closer to is swords. He noticed one was shaking. "What? No need to attack unless you want to actually fight, and not spar with your friend." He didn't care for a fight, he hadn't had a fair one in a while. 'Hmmm.' He studied both of them. "Tell me are you friends or partners?"

Shikyo leaned against a tree, "Ryu Hayabusa...", Shikyo thought over the name while Mamoru grunted, "She shakes for a different reason, if you want to fight or spar you do it with me." Shikyo came out of thoughts before Mamoru could answer the next question, "Partners? do you mean as in mates?"
Mamoru snorted, "I hope not we're friends, nothing more and nothing less, but I hope to find her a mate before I die." Shikyo sighed, "Here you go again speaking of your death, I told you if you die...I'll go back into slavery."
Mamoru's jaws snapped around her wrist and twisted, shikyo screamed out and fell not wanting to break her wrist. "Never say such a thing! NEVER!" His grip tighten teeth threaten to break skin; shikyo whimpered. He sighed and licked the tears from her face, "I care for you too much to let you or let such a thing to happen again." She set up and nodded.

"Well you took that the wrong way, what i meant were you just friends. But that doesn't really matter, what's with you die and you'll be a slave?" 'Hmmm this is weird, she's a slave, to who?' He thought to himself.
